This event promises the best of Derby fun with a side of business - and all independent! Join us as we hear from:

* Our host, Forme Millinery, about the 100 year old tradition of making hats by 'blocking' (along with a behind the scenes look at the process).

* Mint Juleps (maybe a Weird Julep?) from Heaven Hill Brands, Derby chocolates from Art Eatables, appetizers from Le Gallo Rosso, and to keep things weird, a new game app from LIBA member Mommy's Best Games called "Finger Derpy" that features our keep Louisville weird billboard. Our sponsor Louisville Magazine will also be on hand with their Derby editions.

* Our vendors will be sharing a tidbit of wisdom they've gained from their years as independent business owners.

* Doorprizes include a fascinator from Forme Millinery, 6 tickets to the Pegasus Parade (reserved bleacher seats located between 2nd & 3rd Streets) and a bottle of Evan Williams Single Barrel Vintage bourbon.

This event is complimentary for LIBA members. Come meet your fellow independent businesses!
