The WAVE 3 Abbey Road on the River, the world’s largest Beatles-inspired tribute festival, will be held at the Belvedere Festival Park and Muhammad Ali Center in Louisville, KY over Memorial Day Weekend, May 21-25, 2015. Over 60 bands from around the world, including rock band The Orchestra starring former members of ELO and ELO II, will perform on seven indoor and outdoor stages. The festival will also include a presentation by John Lennon’s sister Julia Baird and other events commemorating Lennon’s upcoming 75th birthday.
