There are many ways that LIBA encourages the general public to buy from local independent businesses, but not so many ways that we encourage our businesses to buy from each other when feasible. This group will be focusing on improving that situation through a variety of means. Ideas include city “ward” coordinators to organize B to B meetings and facilitate B to B cooperation/collaboration across the city, exploring more B to B member benefits, and coordinating with certain not for profits that might offer some B to B opportunities.
The first meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 8th, 2:00 pm at the LIBA office.
