Stoneware Succulent Gardening Event

  • 17 Jul 2014
  • 5:00 PM - 7:30 PM
  • 731 Brent Street

The July 17 Third Thursday Lifestyle Series at Stoneware features Valerie Schirmer from Three Toads Farm demonstrating how to pot succulents in Stoneware.

Succulents have thick, fleshy leaves that naturally conserve moisture. These water-thrifty, low-maintenance plants come in a range of sizes, shapes and colors and are a cinch to grow in Stoneware crocks.

Schirmer’s demonstration will include tips about soil, watering, sunlight, temperature and other key components for keeping your Stoneware succulent thriving year-round.

Held in Stoneware’s new GE Monogram Experience Kitchen, the open house style event will be catered by Maison Culinary with complimentary “from the garden” themed hors d'oeuvre and cocktail tastings.

A free event from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., the Lifestyle Series is designed to showcase authentic, local makers of products that complement the Stoneware products and lifestyle.
