 | LIBA WestThe LIBA West Work Group is an exciting neighborhood initiative that has grown out of partnership with Louisville Forward, Metro Council Members, local business owners and residents, the West Louisville Dream Team, and many other community organizations. Beginning in the summer of 2015, this initiative has blossomed into a catalog of programs and events, all focused on growing and supporting independent businesses in Louisville’s historic west end. The work group has launched several successful events, including: a West Louisville informational bus tour, a sustained education campaign on the benefits of supporting local business, local business mentoring, and marketing strategies to highlight West Louisville local businesses.
