Each year, since 2012, the Kentucky New Play Series has presented new short plays (15-minutes, maximum) at the Kentucky State Fair. For the past three years a contest has determined the plays to be produced. This year's contest was only open to female Kentucky playwrights, over the age of 16.

This year's winning KNPS plays will be produced for one performance only on the Performing Arts Stage, North Wing of the Kentucky Exposition Center-- at the Kentucky State Fair-- on Monday August 24th at 7:00 pm. Admission to the plays is free with a paid admission to the Fair. Hope to see everyone there!
