Our next stop? Highland Cleaners, the family-owned mainstay (and one of the founding members of LIBA) that has been keeping Louisville sharp since 1944. On Thursday, May 14 at 10:00 a.m., join us for a rare look inside their original Bardstown Road facility, where tradition meets modern sustainability. You’ll see how they still use specialized pressing machines from the 1940s alongside cutting-edge, eco-friendly wet cleaning technology.
You’ll hear about their decades of community commitment—from cleaning thousands of scarves for cancer survivors to pioneering green business practices in the heart of the Highlands. It’s an opportunity to see the precision and care that goes into every garment before it hits the rack.
